My Priorities as your next State Controller

1. Deliver our financial reports on time.  Our current office holder is almost 2 years behind. This conveys a lack of competency and accountability.  That behavior then filters through all of our relationships within the state and damages our relationships federally and internationally.

2. Provide consistency and timeliness in all our interactions.  No improved system compensates for poor performance.

3. Imbuing transparency means that ordinary Nevadans can see what we do and how we do it.  It assures a greater environment of trust and benefits from public oversight.

4. Nevada needs to prepare for the future by attracting and cultivating new business.  Greater state competency is a growth agency—not a low wage attractant.
